Description
Construction Company looking for an experienced bookkeeper/contract administrator. Experience with construction operations helpful. The position includes payroll administration, health insurance review, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, Y/E financials, report to CPA, various tax filings, quarterly returns. Position is part-time; 30 hrs/week. Start immediately.

Required Qualifications
- Five+ years experience Full-Charge Bookkeeping/Accounting
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Available Mon - Fri between 8am – 2:30pm OR 10:30am - 5pm
- Associates Degree or Equivalent-Business Accounting/Bookkeeping

Necessary Skills & Experience
- Computer literate and able to operate online programs (Gmail, online banking, etc..)
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge & Experience with Payroll, Payroll taxes, and Payroll Software (Paychex or ADP a plus)
- Competently operate basic office equipment: scanner, fax, copiers, etc.

Additional Responsibilities
• A/P and A/R
• Collections
• All levels of HR; Confidential administrative duties related to payroll, employee files, benefits
• Quarterly Tax preparation (both paper filing and online; sales, highway, fuel use, etc)
• Correspondence

• Ability to work with various State and Federal Agencies
• Detail Orientated and work efficiently and independently
• Handle many operating procedures at one time (this position wears many hats)
• Confidently speak with customers and vendors in person and on the phone
• File and maintain paper trails for multiple accounts
• Honesty and Accuracy required
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
